The Urban NEXUS project highlights examples of integrated approaches to resource management and service delivery in cities and metropolitan regions, and were developed as part of the GIZ-ICLEI Urban NEXUS project including the study "Operationalizing the Urban NEXUS: towards resource-efficient and integrated cities and metropolitan regions", funded by the BMZ.
The case examples that were developed include 29 shorter Case Stories from around the world and 8 in-depth Case Studies on: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Nashik, India; Vancouver, Canada; Hannover, Germany; Tianjin, China; eThekwini, South Africa; Lille Métropole, France; and Medellín, Colombia.
