Webinar on Energy Efficient Street Lighting - LED Street Lighting: Benefits Beyond Illumination

ICLEI and partners are hosting a webinar on LED Street Lighting: Benefits Beyond Illumination on March 27th 2018.

The webinar is aimed at local governments active in climate and energy action that have conventional street lighting systems in their communities, and intend to explore more efficient options.

The webinar will feature a group of expert speakers from cities, Philips Lighting and ICLEI. Different approaches to implementing energy efficient street lighting systems will be shared, while exploring the role and options a local government has, combining a range of relevant technology options. The focus of practical experiences will also show how to solve different challenges faced by municipalities, when addressing lighting and energy systems, helping to create smarter cities using more sustainable solutions.

Further, ICLEI resources developed in collaboration with Philips Lighting will be presented, showing the support package provided to local governments. This interactive webinar will also encourage questions to the experts, and sharing views from participants.

To accommodate different time zones, two webinars on this topic will be held on the same day.
