UN Climate Neutral Network Announces New Partnership with ICLEI for a Low-Carbon Future

From cities to cooperatives and from railways to postal services, industry and civil society associations have pledged to significantly reduce their carbon footprint and promote greener living by joining the Climate Neutral Network led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

Cities Biodiversity Center

Bonn Center for Local Climate Action and Reporting (carbonn) and the carbonn Cites Climate Registry (cCCR) combine to create an online platform where cities self-report greenhouse gas emissions reduction and climate adaptation targets, accomplishments and actions. As of May 2012, cCCR had 164 Reporting Cities from 21 countries reporting GHG emissions of 1195 million tCO2e and 680 Actions. Visit here for more information


EcoMobility World Festival 2013

  A month-long festival that transforms a neighborhood in Suwon, South Korea into a car-free zone where citizens will experience an ecofriendly living environment and adopt innovative environmentally friendly transport options.
